A crazy idea that just might work
The drawing to the left are some rough dimensions of the completed trailer. The roof panels are 7' 4" each and the rear folds under the front the panel. This should give me a center height of approx 8'. Hard to see in the drawing, the roof box panels will be approx 6" tall adding to the headroom both front and rear for the sofa and dinette. These plans will evolve as the building progresses. One issue I am contemplating, which I have seen on the Aliner trailers, is a possible fold down dormer over the front dinette area to increase interior space as well as headroom. This is a decisions I will make as I begin to frame the roof panels.
